And Action is a 2 week workshop that deals with the whole process of making a film. It starts with story development and ends with a screening of the finished films.
This workshop has been developed by the editor Lars Bo Kimergård and myself for the summer courses for the European Film College, and was conducted successfully for 6 years in a row.
It requires filming equipment, editing facilities and ideally some good locations to conduct this workshop. The participants find together in groups of 2-5 people, and ideally there should be not more than 5 groups.
The last 4 days of the workshop requires an editing technician or editor to provide technical assistance and to conduct a crash course in the editing software.
This workshop is best suited for younger people that want to get into film making, or the serious amateur, who wants to take it to the next level.
